Reunion
Hello Mister, do you remember me?
We met once, face to face,
for a split second,
as we were walking down this busy street.
I remember you.
Who could have forget that day,
when we walked past each other,
raindrops began to fall down.
And hello little flower, do you remember me?
I sat beside you that one day.
I can remember it clearly,
the sun was nice, and the park was quiet.
We must have talked for half the day
because, without us even notice it,
Spring has bloomed,
and the snow, all melt away.
And hello again love, you remember me?
It has been a long time.
I can barely craft an image of your smile,
and all I could remember are
fragments of this and that.
Yes! It has been a long time.
By now,
you must have forgotten all about me.

Reunion
Excuse to Escape
Excuse to Escape
Some lover must face the fact of the cruel reality,
That love is blind, they failed to see,
Their heart only desire an ending of a romantic fairytale,
While dream, in this endless sea, silently it sail.
And it sail! It sail until the dream becomes a tear,
Love blooms wild thorns, palms bleeding too much to bear.
Keep on holding, hoping that Heaven will be their guide.
But truthfully, there is nothing more to do, except to hide.
No more words need to be said when love close to an end,
All those promises will no longer matter between two friends.
Two paths separate into two different ways,
Heart beats a sad melody for the rest of its day.
But if it true, that two hearts still beat a dying fire,
Then love is like the season, changing, but will not expire.

Memories of a Friend
It been a while since I have post up a poem in this blog. This poem that I am posting up is dedicated to a friend. She is heading back to Vietnam and we will miss her very much. It is sad that I couldn't hang out with her before she have to go (I'm sorry). So to make it up, I spend the week writing this poem (lucky I finish before she have to leave too). I just want to wish you well and the best too. May the memories that we created will forever be in our heart! Don't worry, I will also remember the laugh we share to help me through the tough time. Like you said, hope that one day we will meet again. Until then.....

Memories of a Friend
It is sudden, the news that two friends will part away.
While there are still words left in this world, so much to say.
All the moments that could have been part of a memory.
Now are out of reach and feel like some faraway dream.
Dark day grows darker, it is slowly counting down.
A reed player plays all day, all throughout the town.
Such a sad melody only brings an unfamiliar tune.
Memories are like a bouquet of flower that is yet fully bloom.
At the base of a hill, surrounded by mountains of silhouette,
time grows shorter until – No! No! Not yet!
And there goes the morning star’s light last strand.
Maybe, someday fate will reveal their intentions and plans.
But for now, if these memories is enough to make us cry,
surely, our last word together, will not have to be goodbye.
